  16.      _f_3_c_h_k_i_m_p_r_l_i_c_e_n_s_e calls the FLEXlm license checkout functions to determine
  17.      if an Impressario license is available.  Currently, the only component of
  18.      Impressario that requires a license is _p_s_r_i_p(_1).  _c_h_k_i_m_p_r_l_i_c_e_n_s_e has less
  19.      startup overhead then running _p_s_r_i_p(_1) directly and checking for a
  20.      license access failure.

  22.      _f_3_c_h_k_i_m_p_r_l_i_c_e_n_s_e is intended for use by printer driver developers.  See
  23.      the lp model file /_v_a_r/_s_p_o_o_l/_l_p/_m_o_d_e_l/_l_a_s_e_r_j_e_t_P_J_L__m_o_d_e_l for example use.

  25.      _c_h_k_i_m_p_r_l_i_c_e_n_s_e does not output any messages to standard out or standard
  26.      error.  The return status is used to determine if a license is available.

  29.      _c_h_k_i_m_p_r_l_i_c_e_n_s_e supports the following command line options:

  32.                If specified, the printer status is set to faulted if a license
  33.                is not available.  This causes the printer icon seen on the
  34.                DeskTop and with _p_r_i_n_t_s_t_a_t_u_s(_1) to change color to red to
  35.                indicate a faulted state.   If -_P is used then -_m must be used.

  38.                If specified, the printer error message is set to this message
  39.                if a license is not available.  This message is seen in the
  40.                _p_r_i_n_t_s_t_a_t_u_s(_1) status window for the printer specified with the
  41.                -_P option.  If -_m is used then -_P must be used.
